The Lady wore a blue dress while she sang. It had a hole in it just above her knee and everyone could see it. Her shoes didn’t match and her jewelry was cheap. But they weren’t focused on any of that because she could sang. The spotlight shined one her while she poured her heart and soul out for the sozzled crowd. Her melodic voice married perfectly with the piano keys while the bass massaged the room. The trumpet wasn’t to be forgotten, oh no, it made sure to let it’s notes sparkle in the dim-lit club. Lady hits a high note. A server was so entranced by the sound that she crashed into another server causing a crescendo of chaos in the background. No matter. Lady used it as a cue to solidify her greatness in that small, leaky, hole-in-the-wall club. With perfect breath control she held a beautiful note until they could see her golden aura until her voice faded out. A stunned crowd sat in silence with captivated stares in the smoky room before flooding the stage with praise.
